  1. New Lilly's retatrutide lawsuits: what the dockets say

An opinion piece reading the full court record of the eleven suits: the claims pleaded and left out, each docket's status, the standing and preemption questions, how the cases end, and what they will turn on. The regulatory timeline gains the related litigation.

  2. New Peptide reference: 20 more peptides, five new families, five more comparisons

Opioid peptides, oxytocin and vasopressin, amyloid-β, kinin and angiotensin fragments, hypothalamic and mitochondrial-derived peptides and others, each checked against PubChem; families and comparisons for the new groups.

  3. New Structural comparisons of related peptides

Eight pairs of related peptides side by side: the sequences aligned, calculated properties, and how mass spectrometry and HPLC tell them apart.

  4. New Five more methods articles

Peptide stability and storage, chiral analysis, tandem mass spectrometry sequencing, water content by Karl Fischer titration, and related substances on a certificate of analysis; with three new glossary terms.

  5. New Myth versus measurement: nine short pieces

Common claims about research peptides, each set against the measurement that settles it: purity and peptide content, mass spectra, certificates and lots, method dependence, same-mass variants, salt forms, storage, endotoxin and appearance.

  6. New Peptide mass match, isotope patterns and fragment ions

Check the masses from a spectrum or a certificate against a sequence; every reference entry and calculation now shows its isotope pattern and its b- and y-ion ladder.

  7. New Regulatory timeline

The statutes, court decisions, regulations and FDA guidance that shape research-use-only peptide regulation in the United States, from 1906 to today, each with its citation.

  8. New Peptide reference: 15 more peptides and six family pages

Reference and calibration peptides and relatives of catalog families, each checked against PubChem, and family pages comparing members and showing how each relates in sequence to its family reference.

  9. New Five new methods articles

Net peptide content and purity, peptide salt forms, amino acid analysis, how synthetic peptides are made, and endotoxin in peptide research materials; with three new glossary terms.

  10. New Peptide calculator

Formula, average and monoisotopic mass, charge across pH, isoelectric point, absorbance and the mass spectrometry ions to expect, for any sequence, recalculated as you type.

  11. New Peptide reference: 24 entries and a property table

Identity, calculated properties, expected mass spectrometry ions and analytical notes for 24 research peptides, all calculated from the structure, with the full table as CSV and JSON.

  12. Updated Library pages easier to find

Every library page now tells search engines when it last changed, article FAQs are published as structured data, and this page and its RSS feed list what is new.

  13. Corrected FDA enforcement tracker: evidence categories re-checked

Every letter was re-read against every evidence category. Six categories were added across five letters where the letter quotes that kind of evidence; nothing was removed.

  14. New Mass spectrometry for peptide identity

Electrospray and MALDI, working out the expected mass, reading charge states and adducts, sequence confirmation, and the limits of the method.

  15. New How to read a certificate of analysis

What a peptide certificate should contain, how to check that it belongs to the material in hand, and the signs that deserve a second look.

  16. New Questions we don't answer, and why

Why we do not answer questions about using any material in people or animals, and what we can help with instead.

  17. New FDA enforcement tracker

Every published FDA warning letter to an online seller of research-labeled peptides, with the products named, the disclaimer quoted and the evidence cited.

  18. New Who decides what a product is for?

An opinion piece on how intended use is decided in research-use-only cases, and the questions that leaves open.

  19. New Research-use-only compliance: a five-part series

What research use only means in law, how the FDA decides what a product is for, common mistakes, what strict compliance costs, and where regulation is heading.

  20. New The research library opens

HPLC purity analysis, a glossary of peptide chemistry and analysis, and the editorial policy.
