Cosmic Peptides research library

Related substances

The peptide-related impurities in a sample, such as deletion sequences, oxidized or deamidated forms and diastereomers, reported individually by HPLC.

Last reviewed · Editorial policy

A related-substances report lists each impurity peak above a reporting threshold by its relative retention time and area percentage, with the largest single impurity and the total. Purity and total impurities, both shares of the same chromatogram, add up to about 100%.

Non-peptide components such as water, counter-ions and residual solvents are not related substances and are measured by other methods.
