Lot traceability

The ability to trace a unit of material back to its lot, and that lot to its testing, receipt and every place it went.

Last reviewed · Editorial policy

Lot traceability links each container to the lot it came from, and the lot to its certificate of analysis and its history. It lets a laboratory record exactly which material was used in an experiment and match it to the test results for that lot.

The shop's own lot-tracking system shows, on each product page, the lot currently on sale with its lot ID, purity and verified quantity.
